FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about Nebula, installation, safety and features.

Is Nebula safe?

Yes. Nebula is fully open-source, meaning anyone can review the entire codebase to verify that it is safe, contains no malware and does not collect private data.

You can view the full source code on GitHub:

Is Nebula allowed on Hypixel?

Yes. Nebula only displays publicly available statistics from the official Hypixel API. It does not automate gameplay or give unfair advantages. It is functionally comparable to other stat overlays widely used in the community.

How does Nebula get player stats?

Nebula retrieves all data from the official Hypixel public API. You may optionally provide your own API key, but it is not required.

Why do I need to log in with Discord?

Logging in via Discord allows Nebula to sync your settings across devices and store customizations such as nicknames, columns and color rules. Nebula never posts on your behalf and stores only minimal necessary data.

What data does Nebula store?

Only the following settings are saved in the cloud:

  • Your overlay configuration
  • Your color rules
  • Your nicknames
No gameplay data, no personal information and no tracking is ever performed.

Which Minecraft clients are supported?

Nebula automatically detects:

  • Badlion
  • Lunar
  • Vanilla
  • LabyMod
  • PvPLounge
  • Feather
Or you can manually point Nebula to any custom log folder.

How can I report bugs or give feedback?

You can open an issue on GitHub or contact the developer directly. Contributions, suggestions and ideas are always welcome!
